YASS NETBALL HOLIDAY CLINIC

In the Summer School Holidays Netball NSW will be conducting a Holiday Clinic hosted by the Yass Netball Association.  

When:                  Monday, 21 January 2013
Where:                 Yass Netball Association – O’Connor Park, Yass
Time:                     3pm – 6pm
For:                        Children aged 5 – 12 years old
Cost:                      $40
Bring:                    Healthy snacks, drink bottle, sunscreen and a hat

Participants will receive: A Netball NSW goodie bag with a Gilbert netball, Netball NSW drink bottle, certificate of participation and a sticker set!

Committee Positions

PRESIDENT: The President has overall responsibility for the Jerra Joeys Netball club’s administration.
The President sets the overall annual committee agenda (consistent with the views of members), helps the committee prioritise its goals and then keeps the committee on track by working within that overall framework. At the operational level, the major function of the President is to facilitate effective committee meetings.Other duties include,manage the annual general meeting, represent the club as required, act as a facilitator for club activities, and ensure the planning and budgeting for the future is carried out in accordance with the wishes of the members.
VICE PRESIDENT:  Assists the president in the performing of their duties, taking on the president duties when the president cannot attend meetings or functions.
SECRETARY: provides the coordinating link between members, the management committee and outside agencies The Secretary's duties include: Preparing the agenda for club meetings in consultation with the President and Committee, make arrangements including venue, date, times and hospitality for club meetings, send adequate notice of the meetings, collect and collate reports from office bearers, take the minutes of meetings, write up the minutes as soon as possible after the meeting, have responsibility for checking club PO box and email address, read, reply and file correspondence promptly, in consultation with the registrar, maintain register of members’ and sponsors’ names and addresses, maintain files of any policies, respond to general duties as directed by the club committee.
TREASURER: Treasurer is the chief financial management officer for the Jerra Joeys Netball Club. The responsibilities and duties include: Monitoring the club’s budget, keep the club’s books up-to-date, keep a proper record of all payments and monies received, make sure financial reports are available and understood at all committee meetings, show evidence that money received is banked and documentation provided for all money paid out, give Treasurer’s report at regular meetings and when required, produce an annual financial report, send out accounts and pay the bills.
REGISTRAR:  Is responsible for maintaining the membership records of the club.  Their duties include: taking registration, ensuring they are complete, submittIng registrations with the QNA and maintaining the player database on Netball NSW NMAS database system, work closely with the treasurer in receipting and chasing up monies.
COACHING COORDINATOR:
UMPIRING COORDINATOR:
UNIFORM COORDINATOR. Is responsible for maintaining a small stock of uniforms, taking uniform orders and ordering the uniforms with our suppliers.  Out uniforms include, playing unfiorms, tops, caps, socks etc

State League Trials

Queanbeyan Netball Associaiton is holding State League trials on 21st November at 7.00pm at the QNA Courts.

17 years State Trials

Queanbeyan Netball Association will be holding trials for the 17yrs team to play at the state championships on Tuesday 13th November at 7.00 pm.
