Studying Sport after school?

Do you know any young people who want to do something in sport? If so, please let them know about this…..

It covers Diplomas through to Degrees; gives you details about each course and the ATAR grade required. It’ll be sent to you in a pdf format.
The NSW Sports Federation also  run workshops for school students to tell them about working in the sports industry. We are sponsored by Macleay College, Sydney and the International College of Management, Sydney (ICMS).
Just a bit about ICMS, Sydney

Based in Manly,  ICMS, Sydney offer Diplomas in Sports Management as well as Event and Business management. Just a bit about Macleay College:
 They're based 200 metres from Central Station and offer several sports-themed diplomas in a range of areas. They are particularly well known for their journalism course and have a specific elective in sports journalism, as well as their sports management and sports marketing qualifications. We are working with Macleay to have their students write media releases and articles to help promote our sports.

2013 NSW 19/U Team Nominations

Nominations for the 2013 NSW 19/U Team are now open and will close at 5pm on Friday the 9th of November 2012. Please contact the joeys if you would like a nomination form and information package.

The NSW 19/U Team will compete in National Championships which will be held in Darwin from the 8th – 13th of April 2013.

Can you forward this to all athletes within your association and clubs born in 1994 & 1995?

Trials for the 19/U Team will be held at the Anne Clark Centre on the following dates:

Phase I                
Saturday 17 November 2012
Afternoon

Final Phase
Saturday 1 December 2012
Afternoon

Athletes in the 19/U age group are also eligible to nominate for the NSW 21/U Team and may be selected as per the Netball NSW Selection Policy and Procedures.
Please note a change to the policy (12.3) where athletes may only be selected into one age group in any given calendar year.

NSW 2013 21/U Netball team Nominations

Nominations for the 2013 NSW 21/U Netball Team are now open and will close at 5pm on Friday the 9th of November 2012.

The NSW 21/U Team will compete in National Championships which will be held in Canberra from the 12th – 17th of March 2013.

Can you please forward this information to athletes in your area born in 1992, 1993, 1994 or 1995.

SERAS 15,16,17 & 18 Nominations Due Soon

Dear Associations of the SERAS region,

Nominations for the 2013 SERAS program are now open. 

TRIAL DATE:        Saturday 27 October 2012
VENUE:                UC FIT Sports & Health
Building 4, Allawoona Street
Bruce ACT 2617
TIME:                    10.00am to 2.00pm

Forms must be returned by Friday 12th of October 2012

SERAS is calling for nominations from athletes turning 15, 16, 17 and 18 in 2013. Athletes turning 15 years old in 2013 and seeking to be involved in the 15’s Development Weekend should nominate and attend this selection date.

An email should be coming to eligible players soon.
